Oil Cooler

Oil Coolers - Car, truck and heavy equipment engines are often cooled by passing engine coolant through the engine block, where it is heated, passed through the radiator to the engine, and then back to the engine in a closed loop. Oil cooling refers to a process whereby heat is displaced into a cooler oil and is the principle behind oil cooler devices. The oil carrying the displaced heat usually passes through a cooling unit such as a radiator. Superior Radiators supply, service and repair al types of oil coolers.

	Mustang Cougar Info Our group has been investigating whether or not engine oil coolers were installed from the factory on 1971 429 SCJ Mustangs. We have yet to find one that the owner believes was factory installed - if you believe you have one, please contact the webmaster; mailto:JBlair429@comcast.net. However, oil coolers were certainly installed by dealers and owners. And a special kit with D1ZZ part numbers was released.
