Congratulations to Glenn Dunn on 15 years service with Superior Radiators. We are proud to have an employee like Glenn as part of our team. He is a very skilled tradesperson and has over 30 years experience in the radiator repair industry.

Reminder !!

Now that winter is here, is your vehicle ready for the cold ?
Now is a good time to check your anti-freeze !!
It might also be a good idea to check that your heater, demister and wipers are functioning correctly. We are always available for technical or fault diagnosis assistance. Superior Radiators has “all your cooling needs covered”, so feel free to contact us with any of your cooling/heating queries.

Recent Works

Recently we had two radiators come into our workshop, the first one was out of a Hino truck and the second one was out of a Ford F100.

In both cases the customers had bought new radiator caps from spare parts outlets, the case being that they were sold the wrong caps.

The caps had the incorrect stem length and had turned the radiators into pressure vessels. When the cap was tightened it was completely sealed and there wasn’t any way of releasing the pressure.

For both these customers it was a very expensive fix as the radiators had to be replaced costing $1200.00 for the Hino and $750.00 for the Ford.

We recommend that if you need a new radiator cap we can supply the correct cap at a very competitive price. We are also happy to give our advice freely to you.
As you can see a radiator cap is not as simple as it looks !
